Today (12th October 2023) marks the paperback publication of the UK edition of Cleopatra’s Daughter: Egyptian Princess, Roman Prisoner, African Queen. The paperback has a slightly different cover design to the original hardback with the addition of a lot of nice quotes from the reviews the book received – there is one from the New Statesman (Pippa Bailey) on the front, and three from the New York Times (Shadi Bartsch), the Times Literary Supplement (Edith Hall), and the Atlantic (Mary Beard) respectively on the back. I was very gratified to get such positive and thoughtful reviews from three such prominent classicists.
I can’t wait to see it in stores!
